No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

Oscar Wilde once said, "No good deed goes unpunished." 77 year-old Betty Blair of Pasadena, Texas, found that out the hard way. She opened the doors of her home and her heart to three "diverse" Hurricane Katrina refugees, one black, one Vietnamese, one Filipino. In return, the multicultural trio robbed her, stole her car, and strangled her to death.

Jimmy Hoang Le, 18, Stephanie Jacobo, 18, and Roosevelt Smith Jr., 43, were charged with murdering Mrs. Betty Blair, widow of a Pasadena school board member, during a robbery at her Pasadena home Friday. She had been helping the three Hurricane Katrina evacuees by giving them odd jobs and yard work around her home. Just after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans in late August, Blair took three women from New Orleans into her home in the Parkview Estates subdivision, which was named the 2005 "Neighborhood of the Year" in Pasadena. They got back on their feet and moved on, and Betty Blair asked her local church to send her some more refugees to care for.

Next-door neighbor Lestley Rowell said he had "a bad feeling" earlier in the week when he saw one of the men working in the yard. "I was going to talk to Miss Betty about being more careful," Rowell said. There are still a few White people around who have sufficient common sense to be afraid of young, violent non-Whites, a problem which will increase in this country as more and more White people become elderly and more vulnerable. Rowell and his wife heard "very loud screams" coming from the Blair home on Friday night, and called the police."It appears that those that Mrs. Blair tried to help were the ones that murdered her," said Pasadena Police Department spokesman Vance Mitchell.

The three killers lived together in an apartment in the 900 block of Randall in Pasadena, which they had been given by FEMA in September and which local police said was already developing a reputation as a drug house. The two young Asians, male and female, were apparently involved in a menage a trois with the older negro. (In PC terminology this is referred to as a "non-nuclear, alternative family structure.)

The three Multicultural Murderers were arrested Friday night at the toll booth at Beltway 8 and Westheimer, driving their victim tan 2000 Buick, in which some of her belongings were found. The car was located through the Global Positioning System inside, which they either didn't know about or forgot to turn off. They remained free for barely an hour after the murder Jacobo's 10-month-old son also was in the car. Apparently they took the baby along for the ride when they went out looking for elderly White women to murder. The family that slays together, stays together.

Betty Blair's friends and church members are stunned, shocked and horrified. Why? What in God's name did they expect? When, people, when are we going to learn?
